It always happens, I guess. One has this great story idea and suddenly finds they have no time to write it.
Or, one has this great itch to write, and has no idea of what to write about.
So, here's a possible solution to both problems in one handy page.
Every fandom I know has one of this little pages. It's a place where authors can either leave their unwritten plot bunnies or find a nice little cute plot bunny to write in case that they have a horrible writer's block.
Every fandom, that is, except for the much critiziced but even so popular, boyband slash fandom. (If there is, I apologize for stepping on someone's toes. I still haven't find another), that's why I created the Habitrail inside of my mess.
ADOPT A BUNNY / LEAVE A BUNNY FOR ADOPTION

Adopting a bunny is easy. All you have to do is go to the bunny list, pick up the one you like, and follow the next rules:

  • Whatever story you choose to write, you must give credit to the original author of the plot bunny and the Habitrail. (Actually, I only ask for credit to the original author, but it would be nice of you to mention the Habitrail so more authors could come.)
  • As an addendum, if you wish, I can e-mail your story to the original author of the bunny. So he or she can read it. I will only do so if the plot bunny authors provide me with a working e-mail.
  • Most plot bunnies here will be slash. But occasionaly, there will be a pink, innocent gen bunny around. I will not censure bunnies before they're written, however I do have a policy against hate, racism and rape fiction. Those bunnies will not be put on for adopiton, sorry. I also don't like "chan", "Shota" or whatever you wish to call it the slash between a minior and an adult, however, if the author of the plot bunny wishes to discusss this policy with me, I'll be glad to hear his/her point and might change my mind about some stories.
  • All pairings are permitied, and, time willing, I'll make a special index for pairings and different bands.
  • As this is not an archive, I will not be posting the stories, but would like to have a link to them so people can read your work. If you don't have a web page, contact me and maybe we can find a place for your story.
  • Oh. And more than one people can adopt a bunny. It's fun to see how different stories can be born of the same plot. HOWEVER, I will keep a track of the stories's date, to avoid any confussions about plagiarism.
  • Once you have choosen your bunny, contact me at: geistluvschris@yahoo.com.mx to add your name to the proud parent's list.

On to the bunnies!

Leaving a bunny for adoption is even easier.

You can put any plot bunny you like, in any shape or form: be it an initial paragraph, a list of requeriments, or just a picture saying "I wish for a fic written with this idea on mind", however It's better if you have a more detailed explanation about the bunny.

I was going to put a form here, but .t35. doesn't support CGI, and I'm still learning how to do that.

Anyway, please, send the following data to geistluvschris@yahoo.com.mx to leave your bunnies:

Name of the author:
E-mail:
Name of the Plot Bunny:
A Short Summary or description:
Desired Rating:
Possible Pairings
:

Thanks!
